Aloo Poha(Batata poha)

Aloo poha
Hai guys..Yesterday I posted French toast recipe for which I got good comments and response.Thankyou guys for visiting my blog and leaving comments...Visit my blog often for yummy recipes and I will highly appreciate if you follow me..and I want to share one more thing with you...Today I got a mail..It was written by Laura from Portola, CA..She came across my blog and send me a sweet sweet mail. That is......

“Dear Aarthi,
You might not believe this, but I am a middle-aged American housewife who lives in the mountains of Northern California, USA - and I just made your recipe tonight for dinner!  My husband and I loved it!  I had never cooked south Indian dal before.
I am a great fan of India and Indian cooking.  We have visited your wonderful country 4 times - 1977, 1998, 2003 and 2009.  In 1977 we stayed for 6 months in Mussoorie, in Uttar Pradesh.  In 2003 our daughter Miriam was studying for a semester in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, so we visited her of course.  That's when I discovered how different south Indian food is from north Indian.  I found I especially like curry leaves.
So today I realized I had some curry leaves in my refrigerator, and I felt like making dal - so I entered "south Indian dal with curry leaves" into Google and I got your recipe!
What an amazing world we live in today!  When I was a young woman in India in 1977, I couldn't even telephone my parents at home in the US.  Now I can find an Indian recipe on my computer in seconds.
Thanks so much for sharing your recipe.  You should put a photo of yourself on your blog.  I liked seeing your mom and sisters and dog.
From an American fan :)
Laura Ashkin”

She also send me her family photo and a photo where she is with her husband and her beautiful house photo...I am really happy how these guys love India and Indian food..So Laura Thanks for dropping in and keep checking my blog...
