Successfully I am finishing my blogging marathon group one by today..My Theme for group one is 15 min Quick Breakfast,So if you want the set of my 7 day quick breakfast recipes just check below…..I am gonna participate in the coming weeks too.So please keep checking it out….Today’s dish gonna be Chilli Idli…This is a ultimate dish for the leftover idli’s…my mum’s way of using leftover idli is she will just crumble the idli and mix it with idli podi and then she will stir-fry that in oil..But this is another way of doing it..This is so good that it doesn’t taste like idli(BTW..I don’t like idli so much).In this I fried the idli’s that what gives extra taste..but if you wish not to deep fry you could just use it as it is.. So please try this and let me know what you think….
My 7-day post for Quick Breakfast
Garlic-6 cloves sliced
Curry leaves-1 handful
Tomato puree-1 cup
Red chilli powder-1 tblpsn
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Cinnamon(pattai)-1 inch piece
Red colour-a pinch
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Corn flour-1 tblspn
Salt to taste
First mix the ingrediants given for the batter with some water into a smooth paste.Dip each idli cubes in this and deep fry till golden.
In a kadai add oil,saunf,cinnamon and crackle it,Add in garlic,curry leaves and fry for 1 min.
Add in onions and fry till golden brown.Add in tomatoes and mix well.Add in tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
Put in all the spices and mix well.now add in red colour and mix until combined.
Throw in all the fried idli pieces and mix well till everything is combined.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
Heat some oil and fry ginger, garlic, onions and curry leaves
Add in tomatoes and mix well..
Pour some tomato puree….
add all your spices…
and your fried idlis…
