French Toast

French Toast
Hai Friends...I have a news for you...I am gonna participate in “Blogging Marathon#5” Conducted by Srivalli.Actually I am new to this contest,I think it is a great one for new bloggers like me to get some audience for our blog.Keep up the good work Srivalli. If any of you like to participate, just take a look at her blog and you can participate in the coming weeks...And also don’t forget to check my Co-Bloggers post(Links given in the bottom of this post)...My theme for this week is 15 min Quick Breakfast..So I will be posting Breakfast recipes this week..So keep checking out.Working mothers this will be really quick and easy for you to make on the run.

Today’s recipe is gonna be French Toast. There is no other better breakfast than few slices of perfect french toast with a cup of fresh juice right?.So I hope you all will give this a try and let me know what you think...

Bread-4 slices
Milk- 1/4 cup
Tomato-1 deseeded and chopped finely
Spring onion-2 sliced finely
Salt to taste
Pepper-1 tsp
chilli powder-1 tsp(optional)
Butter-3 tblspn

In a shallow bowl add eggs, tomato, spring onion, milk, salt, pepper,c hilli powder and mix well.

Heat butter in a frying pan.Dip the bread in the egg mixture and put it on the pan.Take some of the tomatoes and spring onions and apply it over the bread since they wont stick to the bread when dipped first.

Let the heat be on simmer,so that the bread cook from inside too. When they are cooked in the bottom turn the other side and cook.

Slice into wedges and serve with a cup of tea or fresh juice.

Crack your eggs

add a splash of milk

add in tomatoes

Add chopped spring onion
and some paprika

Mix well

melt some butter in a pan

Dip bread in that and fry in pan

Cook on both sides

Cut it and serve

I made this french toast recipe this morning, used finely chopped green chillies instead of pepper and paprika. Also added a dash of fried garlic which u get in bottles.

It was yummy and i plan to make it regularly.

Will try with just egg white next time to make it healthier..

Keep Posting. Kudos
