I have to tell you that this delicious brownie is from an accident…
After making Blackforest cake I had lots of whipped cream and cherries in my fridge..I am really conscious of not wasting a single thing…
Yes this is the only stuff which I learned from my mum..If she sees this, she will be really proud of me,Sorry proud of her…Because I have never told her anything like this..And in my house nothing happens like this more often.
Me and my Mum always have different opinion in all things..But in a sweet way..
Now coming back to this recipe..Atfirst I thought of making some Chocolate Cherry Cake with whipped cream icing..And this recipe is a cupcake recipe and I thought of making this into a huge cake..
Everything went really well till mixing and putting the tin in the oven…But I don’t know what went wrong…This one turned into a Brownie rather than a Cake…
I was bit worried about that at first…But when this cooled and I topped it with some whipped cream and cherries.this tasted divine…
So Forget about the Cake and make this Brownies…I can promise you…
(BTW..I think that I added some extra jam or less flour for this yummy disaster)
So here you go to the recipe…
Flour-150 gms or 1 ½ cup
Sugar-150 gms or ¾ cup
Butter-100 gms or ½ cup
Dark Chocolate-100 gms or 3 ounce
Baking powder-1 tsp
Baking soda-1 tsp
Salt a pinch
Cherry Jam or any Fruit Jam- 100 gms or 3 ounce
Vanilla Essence-1 tsp
Preheat the oven to 180°C(350°F)…Butter a tin and dust it with flour..
Mix flour,baking powder,baking soda,salt together and set aside..
Melt butter and chocolate in microwave for 1 min..
Add in egg,sugar,jam vanilla in this and mix well…
Add the flour mixture in this and mix well…
Pour this in the tin and bake it for 30-40 mins or until the brownie is cooked..
Remove this and let it cool completely..
Cut the brownies into pieces..Take one piece and add some whipped cream on top…
Decorate this with cherries and serve..
|Take all your ingrediants…Minus the Chocolate Sprinkles…I Don’t know why i put that over here…HE HE…|
|Take Butter and Chocolate in a microwave safe bowl|
|Melt it for 1 min..|
|This looks so glossy and yummy right…But you can’t eat it like this…|
|add in a dash of vanilla|
|and gradually sprinkle in your sugar…|
|In goes two fresh eggs…|
|and cherry jam…or any of your favorite jam..|
|Take the flour mixture in the sifter..|
|sift it in|
|mix gradually and calmly|
|Meanwhile line a tin with foil and butter in generously|
|Pour this into the tin..|
|All baked…As you can see some jam bits here and there..that tasted heavenly…|
|Cut into pieces…This won’t be perfect..|
|Serve as it is|
|Or top some whipped cream and cherries…|
|One more tip!!! This taste awesome with a scoop of Vanilla Icecream…But before serving this just microwave the brownie till it gets hot..Because hot fudgy brownie and cool icecream is a marriage made in heaven..|
