Eggless Marble Cookies Recipe


Hai Guys....I have a good news to share with you...YUMMY TUMMY reached 500 followers...Yes I am really excited about this...Thank you for making my blog this successful...

To celebrate this I am posting a really delicious cookies.....This is a Eggless cookie recipe..This requires simple ingredients and it taste so good...Actually speaking this just melts in your mouth..


As usual I am giving you the step by recipe for this..So here you go....

Ingredients:

All Purpose Flour / Maida-150 gm / 11/4 cup
Butter-250 gms
Cornstarch / Cornflour-240 gms / 1 1/2 cup
Icing Sugar / Confectioner Sugar - 3/4 cup / 90 grams
Cocoa Powder-2 tblspn

Method:

Preheat the oven to 170°C(350°F)..

In a mixing bowl add in butter and sugar till fluffy and creamy..

Sift in flour and cornstarch and mix well till it gets combined.

Now divide into two portions and add cocoa powder in one portion and mix well till combined.

Wrap it in plastic wrap and set in fridge for 15 mins..

Take it out of the fridge and form balls out of it..

Now take one plain ball and one chocolate ball and combine them together so that they form a marbled ball..(Check picture).

Arrange them in foil lined tray and press them gently.

Bake them for 15 mins...Remove them and let it cool completely..

Store them in air tight container and serve with a cup of milk..

Take all your ingredients
Beat butter and sugar

till fluffy and pale

sift in both flour...

mix well ....

till it comes together...(Don't look at my bowl,I know it looks messy)

Divide into two equal portions
add cocoa to one portion

and mix well....

cover both with plastic wrap and stick it in fridge
Make small balls out of it...I know this looks beautiful

Take one plain ball and one chocolate ball

make it into one marbled ball

press it with your hand and arrange it in tray

bake it to perfection
Let it cool completely...
Serve

    just a suggestion
    For your followers located outside India ....can u also include the measurements in lbs/cups
    for eg : 1 cup of flour etc
    And also a print icon to print the recipes directly would be of immense help
    Have always loved your pictorial show of the recipe. Continue that !!

  17. @Gauri Sangle DhatrakPowdered sugar is just normal granulated sugar powdered. Icing sugar is super fine sugar which is available in market, it has cornstarch added to it.

  20. I don't know what I did wrong. The cookies came out really hard and too oily/buttery. The also spread out and lost the round shape. I followed the recipe exactly
