Mini Instant Oats Dosa / Instant Mini Oats Crepes / Oats Dosa – Tribute to JayaSree

It really hurts when people close to our heart leaves us alone. Same feeling happened to me when I heard the news that one of my co-blogger jayasree from Experiments in Kailas kitchen passed away...Even though bloggers we have never met, but somehow we are united by heart..Which gives us lot of pain when something happens to the fellow bloggers..

I know her only a couple of months before since I discovered her blog...She is a wonderful blogger who has a lovely blog with lots of lovely recipes..

Its really a good thing that all blogger’s have come together and planned a tribute to her by making her recipes and posting it..I took this opportunity and tried one of her recipe..Jayasree made it as kulipaniyaram, but I made it as mini dosa’s which came out perfectly..So hope you like it and I pray that jayasree’s soul to rest in peace..

So here you go for the step by step recipe with pictures..

  25. Can I skip rice flour from it? Or can u plz tell any substitute of it?

  27. Hi aarti,

I love your blog. This is the first recipe I have tried and it came out really good. Just few questions.,
Can i skip the baking soda?
Is it ok to put the batter in refrigerator and cook the dosa the next day?

  28. Hi AArti,

I love your blog. I tried the dosa recipe and it came out really good. Just two questions. Can I skip the baking soda? Also is it ok to use the batter the next day after keeping it in the refrigerator?

  29. @Asha Mathewu can skip baking soda. it will make this thinner and crispier, instead of soft. And you can store it in fridge and use next day as well. But dont add baking soda.

  30. Dear aarthi I have learned several new recipies from ur blog.thanks for creating interest in trying new dishes.your pictorial presentation makes everything easy.best wishes to u.

  31. Is baking soda good or bad for health any idea ?

  32. @Ramyait is neither good or bad. you can use in moderation

  33. When we double recipes like this instant oat dosa or your appam batter!should we double the amount of baking soda also?
