Fried Chicken Nuggets – Indian Style

 
Another Week of Blogging Marathan is started and I am planning to go with the theme winter special recipes..If it gets cold outside, what do you feel like eating..I know you love to have Soups, Fried Foods and all kinds of steaming hot dishes which makes you go for a long time.

I am gonna post those kind of recipes for this whole week..So hope you stay tuned for those recipes..I am going to start this BM off with a bang by posting simple yet crispy fried dish.I took the traditional chicken nugget recipe and gave a indian touch to it as I do often.




So I hope you will try this dish on a cold day and enjoy with a bowl of soup...YUM...Take Care...



Ingrediants:



Chicken – 200 gms boneless cut into strips

Ginger Garlic Paste-1 tsp

Chilli powder-1 tsp

Coriander Leaves / Cilantro-2 tblspn chopped finely

Salt to taste

Egg-1

Bread crumbs as needed (Recipe Below)

Oil for shallow frying



Method:



How to make Breadcrumbs:

I usually put my leftover bread in freezer for a few days, this makes the bread go hard. Then when I need breadcrumbs I take those bread and break them into small pieces and powder them in a blender.This will give you coarse breadcrumbs.



How to make Chicken Nuggets:



Cut chicken into thin strips and marinate it with some chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and cilantro for 15 mins.



Beat one egg in a shallow bowl.Take breadcrumbs in another bowl, if your wish you could season them with some salt,chilli powder and any herbs.



Take one chicken strip and dip it in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs.Coat it well and arrange it in a plate.



Heat oil for frying and fry these nuggets till golden on both sides.



Remove on a kitchen paper.



Serve hot with ketchup.

Take all your ingrediants..Excuse me I have added salt twice over there..
Slice your chicken

take it in a bowl

Add salt and chilli powder to this..

add in cilantro



add some ginger garlic paste in
mix it up
Crack open a egg

beat it slightly

take breadcrumbs in a plate..you could add any herbs at this point

Ok here you go
Dip the chicken in egg

and then in breadcrumbs

one done..

ok all done..

heat oil for frying

add the chicken in the oil

fry till golden

Remove on to a plate

You can serve it with some ketchup or mayo

or with some rice

  22. ashesnroses..yes you could do till the breadcrumbs coating step and arrange it in a nonstick tray and freeze it for couple of hours.After that you could take everything and put it in a ziplock bag and label it..Then freeze it untill use.Hope this helps..
