Tofu Bhurji / Scrambled Tofu with Spices / Scrambled Tofu Masala – Healthy Sidedish


Hai Friends..I wish everyone a Happy New Year..I pray to god that all your wishes should come true and every one should have a very very great year ahead..I am having a special recipe to post tomorrow will talk about that tomorrow..


Coming back to todays recipe..If you need any quick sidedish or thinking to go healthy on that day then make this..This dish has tons of protein in it since tofu is packed completely with protein..I always prefer tofu for paneer..Since it is healthy and fat free you don’t need to feel guilty while having this..Try this and let me know what you think.

Ingrediants:

Tofu – 1 block scrambled
Onion-1 chopped finely
Tomatoes – 2 chopped finely
Green Chilli- 1 chopped finely
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder / Malli Podi -1 tblspn
Cumin Powder / Jeera Podi -1 tsp
Chilli Powder -1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder -1 tsp
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – ½ tsp
Oil-1 tblspn
Salt to taste
Sugar -1 tsp
Coriander Leaves / Cilantro for garnishing

Method:

Heat oil in a kadai. Add in cumin seeds and let it crackle.

Now add in onions, green chillies and mix well..Cook untill it gets light golden.

Add in all chilli, coriander, turmeric, cumin powders and mix well.

Add in tomatoes and cook untill it turns mushy.

Now add in garam masala powder and mix well.Pour a splash of water and bring it to a boil.

Add the scrambled tofu and mix well.

Cook everything for 5 mins . Garnish with cilantro and mix well.

Serve with roti.

Take your tofu block and wash it well
Scramble it

and bring it to a boil
add in scrambled tofu
and mix well
garnish with cilantro

Tofu is only as nice as the ingredients you put in, I think it does not have much taste on its own. This one looks really delicious.
