This is one of the recipe from Vahrehvah.com...This is so easy to make,but many of you think that it is a complicated one..But I am gonna show you that this is far more easier and quicker than you might think.There are a few steps that you should follow so that the kabab comes out more juicer and tender.First try to use a very thick curd,while using ginger garlic paste squeeze out the liquid from it..I used a blender to make the marinate this makes the marinate so smooth..The amount of cornflour is really upto you,If the marinate is so thin use a little more cornflour so that the marinate coats the chicken.I served it with pita bread and salsa(Check recipe here)..It was so good...So hope you give this a try and let me know what you think....

This is a simple version of making this exclusive dish...The real taste for this dish comes from the cream that we use,if you don’t want to use cream you could always use milk,But nothing compared to the cream,so please try to use that and also you can skip the oil but never skip the butter(of course this is butter paneer,how can we skip butter)..I served this dish with some wheat naan(will post recipe soon)..So hope you will give this a try and let me know what you think...

This Dosa is slightly varied from the Masala Dosa that I posted yesterday.It has a spicy red chutney applied all over the dosa…This taste good…but it will be a little spicier.For all spice lovers this is the one..And instead of fried gram dal you could also use coconut…For the masala that I use here please check this post.

Cantaloupe is called as kirni palam here.This is a very cheap fruit but many of us don’t know about this.Last week when I went to lynns I found this fruit..That is the first time I saw this,I don’t know what I am going to make with this,but I picked one to give it a try.After coming home I peeled,deseeded and chopped(lots of work..) this and tried a small piece,believe it or not,it has no taste at all.YES it was bland..The fact is some of this fruit tends to be very sweet and some doesnot have a little sweetness too....So I put this back in the fridge and went in search of recipe that calls for this exotic fruit(he he..)..Then atlast I found this recipe..This recipe is from Showmethecurry.com...I tried this and I was amazed by the fact that how this bland fruit turned super delicious...Yes it was so good..So hope you give this a try and let me know what you think....
Cantaloupe(kirni)-1 peeled and chopped
In a blender add in cantaloupe,milk,sugar,icecubes and blend together.
Pour this in glass and serve chilled.

Hai Everyone….Yesterday night I made Blackforest cake…It came pretty good,I will post the recipe tomorrow.Today I am posting one of the typical south indian dish..Its Rasam..On hearing the name you will think that it is such a easy dish to make.But many of us wont get it perfect and tasty.This recipe is so good,that you don’t need any sidedish with it,you can have it with plain rice on its own.This rasam don’t need the rasam powder that we usually use,we are going to make the perfect rasam from scratch.I added ajinomoto in this rasam..I know it is not good for health,but a little amount wont do anything and in this dish it gives extra taste too,So I recommend you to try this dish with ajinomoto…So hope you all give it a go and leave comments.

This recipe is from Contemplation and Rumination by Karen..She posted this recipe yesterday,As soon as I checked this I thought of trying this.I had every ingrediants on hand.so I made this yesterday…I made a little modifications as usual,still it cameout great.I used peas also in this dish.Then instead of frying the paneer,I boiled it in hot water and used,the paneer turned so soft.In her post she mentioned that we can use milk instead of cream,I tried that it worked really well.I served this with hot chappati and it was heavenly..Thanks Karen for the recipe…Hope you all give this a try and let me know what you think...

The best way to deal with a mango is eating it whole…but if you want to try something different you could make this..This is super delicious.If you have a bunch of mangoes that are not sweet you could use it like this…The thing is you need to add more sugar,It depends upon your taste.The difficult part here is peeling and chopping up the mango…Peeling a ripe mango can be a real mess,So if you want know how to chop up a mango properly check this.

Last Month I celebrated my birthday and it was great,I have written about that in one of my post....my team gave me a birthday present last week...Guess what “COOKBOOKS”... How sweet is that.....My lovely Team know that I love to read cookbooks.They gave me two books written by Tarla Dalal.So I thought of trying a dish from that book and dedicate it for them...So team thankyou for your present and love you guys..
I love this juice not only for its taste but for the great colour.This juice gives you a immediate refreshment after a tiring day.Grapes are rich in antioxidant,so what you are drinking is a cup full of antioxidant.Use seedless grapes for this because if you are using the other grapes the seeds may turn bitter while blending and also try to use black grapes if you use white grapes you wont get this colour.

I have a good news and bad news for you..First the Bad News.... My camera is broken.These photos are taken from one of my friends camera..I am not used to that camera so when I finished taking pictures I found that the flash was not on(OH!!!it was very annoying),so the pictures came very dull,So I went and started editing the pictures and unluckily it became a disaster,I forgot to save my old file(which I usually do)..so the pictures ended up like this.OOPS!!!

This dish I made couple of weeks ago.I modified this recipe from a cooking show presented by damodaran.Try to cut the brinjal as thinly as possible(i sliced it thick so it took lot of time to cook) and also make the coconut into a smooth paste.This dish goes extremely well with plain rice,chappati,Dosa or Idli.So hope you will try this.

This pickle is my mum's favorite one,She will eat everything all alone..YES it is a pickle that you can eat all by itself..This dish has a slight sweet and sour taste and a little bit of kick from the chilli powder which is perfect.So try this and you can store in the refrigerator upto 2 weeks(it wont last more than a week,it was that tasty).

Hai Guys..Hope everyone had a blistering weekend.Mine was OK..This dish I made a couple of weeks ago.Being from the south of India,Chutneys are one of the stable side dishes for Idlis and Dosas…I am not a big fan of coconut chutney,but I love tomato chutney..It taste quite tangy and sweet and it was Awesome.Then the combination of tomatoes with coconut is really good.Everyone have their way of making tomato chutney,but this is quite a different method…So I hope that u will give this a try and let me know wat you think.Dont forget to Check the Pineapple salsa recipe that I have posted below this:D

This is one of delicacies of Bombay...This is a dish that does not need any onions...It is simple dish to prepare and goes extremely well with Chappatis and puris.This gets even simpler if you use frozen green peas..you can get this stuff in any super market in the freezer section,here you could find in lynns...This stuff makes life so simple because you don’t have to worry about soaking green peas and boiling it..Blah Blah Blah...So get a packet of this and keep it in your freezer,so whenever you want you could just use it as it is.This green peas has a vibrant colour,so it gives a great look to our dish..If you cannot find this,Don’t worry you could just use regular green peas.Check out the Tropical fruit juice that I have posted below this.Ok please try this and tell me how it came out.

This is a dish that is dedicated to all those people who love MUSHROOM like I do.Mushroom is one of my favorite vegetable.It looks like a kind of yukky when bought,But once you cook it,it is absolutely yummy.This dish can be finished within 10 min.It should be cooked in highest heat,because if you cook it in slow flame the mushroom will leach out its water and it will become mushy.It is so simple…It has a nice peppery taste to it.It can be served with hot paratha or chappati.It is absolutely delicious.And Don’t forget to check the BADAM MILK Recipe I have posted below this.

Antioxidant salad,check that out.Ok todays recipe is Vegetable Cutlet.Cutlet is everyone's favorite dish.Cutlet can be made with Chicken,Mutton even with fish.But this vegetable cutlet is so simple but it takes a little bit of time to prepare everything.If everything is done you can easily make it.Infact you could make the cutlet as mentioned before and freeze it and you can use it whenever you want,It stays good upto 2 weeks in the freezer.The main thing about this cutlet is you want the vegetables to be very finely chopped.Steam the vegetables first and squeeze of any extra water from it.This cutlet mixture should be dry so that you can get a perfect cutlet.So make vegetable cutlet this weekend and tell me how it came.

Hope you all had a good weekend.Summer has arrived many of you have asked me to post some summer recipes like salads and juices,so i thought of showing you some of those dishes that cools you this summer.From tomorrow onwards along with my usual post i will post a salad or juice recipe..so keep checking out.Coming back to todays recipe,ie,UPMA...most of us just hate upma,it is one of the underestimated food.But upma is the most versatile and easiest dish in the world.But some times it gets too dry.So I use a little bit of curd in my upma…So that it keeps everthing so moist and each bite just melts in your mouth.This recipe is a basic method of cooking upma.but there is a another version where you will add lots of vegetables and some other stuff,i will make that and post later.I served this dish with Spicy coconut chutney(will put recipe soon).This recipe also goes to the Breakfast Mela conducted by Srivalli for her 4th year Blog Anniversary.Just try it and let me know what you think.

|Pasta in Tomato Sauce|
A couple of weeks ago I posted a Italian pasta dish…If you have not checked it out please check it.This is a pasta dish that is tossed on a lovely Tomato Sauce.I used Yellow Zucchini in this recipe,If you can find Green,you can use that too….Zucchini gives a lovely crunch to this dish..But it is hard to find that vegetable over here,But if you go to lynns they will have it,or else it is completely optional...
