Simple Peas Pulav ( Pilaf ) Made in Rice Cooker - Rice Cooker Recipes

If you ask me what is the best invention in kitchen appliances glossary is a proper rice cooker. I own a prestige rice cooker which is my bestest friend in kitchen. This clearly tells me that I should do a separate post for that. I am using my rice cooker from the day we bought it, it has never failed me. Each time it cooks rice perfectly and fluffy.

I have started a new series called as rice cooker recipes in my blog and going to explore all the possible way to use it. This is my first recipe, a very basic and simple peas pulav. This is best served with any hot and spicy curries..I hope you will love it and ask me any questions about rice cooker.

  19. hai arthi.. for 1 cup of basmati rice we should add 2 cup of water or 1 cup of water is enough..

  21. Mam...what side dish we can use ..apart from Raitha. ...

  22. Thank you Aarthi for sharing this recipe, made it for dinner and it was easy to make and tasted really good.

  23. Hi Aarthi ka. I'm a regular follower of yummytummy for each and every silly recipe too. Even now I have got a silly doubt. I too have the same rice cooker. But I used to cook by placing the aluminium plate inside the rice bowl which protects the bowl from direct heat. But every time some masala/rice go waste under the plate. But you haven't placed the plate inside. Is it ok to cook without placing the plate?
