If i feel very lazy to cook anything, the only thing which i do is a simple rasam and a egg dish. For me eggs are a total saviour, i love them a lot so do my family. Eggs are so versatile and it can be made into any form as you like.
Couple months back i made this and served it for my lunch. The lunch plate includes some piping hot rice, carrot and potato poriyal, green gram thogayal(recipe soon), egg omelette, rasam and a samosa.The egg omelette is a little spiced up version and it was yummy. I hope you will try it and let me know how it turned out.
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking time : 10 mins
Makes 2 small one or one large one
Egg - 2
Onion - 1 medium finely chopped
Green Chilli -1 finely chopped
Turmeric Powder / Manjal podi - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Take onion, green chilli, turmeric, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well.
Crack open couple of eggs in that and mix well.
Heat a tawa and drizzle in some oil.
Once it is hot pour the egg mixture in it and cook on low to medium heat till the top layer sets, It will take around 5 mins.
Now flip over and cook for 5 mins.
Remove it carefully and serve with rice and rasam.

|crack open 2 eggs|
|add some crushed pepper|
|beat them well|
|Heat a tawa|
|Pour egg mixture over it|
|cook till the egg sets on top|
|flip over and cook|
