Cornflakes Crusted French Toast Recipe

French Toast is a great one to whip up on busy mornings when you dont have much time on hand. Even that simple french toast can be made different ways. All of them taste fantastic..

This is a recipe which i made yesterday and i loved it so much, i cannot wait to share it with you. It is a normal french toast which has some cornflakes crust over them. So when you taste it, it has the crunchy little salty bite from cornflakes which is perfect.

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 2 to 3 mins per batch
Makes : 3 


Bread Slices - 3
Egg - 1
Milk - 1/4 cup
Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1 tblspn
Cornflakes - 1 cup or as needed
Butter or Oil as needed for frying 


Take cornflakes in a plate, crush them with your hands. Set aside.

Crack open egg in a bowl, add in sugar, milk and vanilla. Whip it well.

Dip bread slice into that and coat it with cornflakes on both sides.

Now pan fry it in some butter or oil till golden on both sides.

Serve with honey, maple syrup or jam.

Take all your ingredients

Take cornflakes in a plate

Crush them using hands roughly

Crack an egg in a bowl

add in sugar

add in milk

add in some vanilla

whip it up well

Now dip a bread into it

coat it on both sides

Now coat it with breadcrumbs

coat very well on both sides

Just like this

Melt some butter in a pan

Toast the french toast till golden on both sides

Serve warm

with some honey, maple syrup or jam
