Hello everyone…Welcome to a new series of Blogging Marathan..This week I am making dishes under the theme “Curry in a Hurry”..So this week you can find all types of delicious curries that can be done under 30 min.So keep checking out.
This recipe is modified from vahrehvah.com…When I was watching this recipe,he explained a cute story…in that he named this recipe as Paneer from Disneyland..The story is…Sanjay went to one of his friends house,there was a little girl..Se usually refused to eat eggs itseams..So Sanjay made this dish for her and told this is paneer from disney land and this is what mickey mouse loves to eat..Atonce the girls eyes were wide open and she was like what “PANEER FROM DISNEYLAND”..i want it and within 15 mins she finished everything thinking that this is paneer.So Hope you guys try it and tell me whether it taste like paneer. Actually I am highly addicted to that name.so I am keeping that name for this dish.This is a really simple dish,the egg in this sauce taste exactly like paneer pieces.Please try this dish and let me know what you think…
For Egg cubes:
Green chilli-1 chopped
Coriander leaves-1 tblspn chopped
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Tomato puree-1 cup
Red chilli powder-1 tblpsn
Coriander leaves(malli podi)-1 tblpsn
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Cumin seeds(jeera)-1 tsp
Milk- 1 ½ cup
Salt to taste
Beat eggs along with all the ingrediants together.Pour this into a microwave safe bowl and cook it for 5 min.Remove it from microwave and cut it into pieces.This looks exactly like paneer.Set this aside for a moment.(if you don’t have microwave,steam this in a normal steamer)
Now add oil in a kadai and throw in the saunf,cinnamon and cumin seeds.Add onions and fry for 1 min.
Add all the spice powders and mix well.Add in milk and mix well.
Let this come up to boil.Now add tomato puree all at once and mix well.
Let it come up to boil.Now add in the egg cubes and mix well.Let it cook for 3 min.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice or roti.
