This is one dish which i tasted recently, hubby got it from a thattukada shop here in my place and it was delicious. I tried recreating it and it worked perfect.
Try to use boneless mutton piece and you are allowed to over cook the mutton in pressure cooker. So the meat falls off the bone, so it will be easy for you to shred it..
Cooking Time : 1 hour
Boneless Mutton – 500 grams
Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Water – 1/2 cup
Coconut Oil – 1/4 cup
Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu – 2 tsp
Onion – 2 large sliced thinly
Green Chilli – 3 slit
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tblspn
Curry leaves a handful
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tblspn
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tblspn

Take mutton and other thing given in a cooker and pressure cook for 12 to 15 whistle. Remove it from flame and let the pressure release all by itself. Open the cooker and set aside.
Now heat oil in a pan, add fennel and sizzle.
Add in onions, curry leaves and green chilli and saute for few mins.
Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Add in cooked mutton and the spice powder and mix well.
Keep tossing it so the mutton shreds apart.
