Aloo Tikki Burger
Hai Guys..I have a good news for you..My dearest friend Jafrin is getting married by next Saturday..I am really excited about that,I feel that everything happens so quickly, but as you know time runs so fast.I always pray god that she must get all the happiness in the world and enjoy every second of her life..Wish you a Happy Married Life Jappy…

Ok coming back to todays recipe…I welcome you all for another week of blogging marathan..This week I am doing dishes in the theme “Picnic food”..I have planned to make some delicious burger and wraps.since they comes handy when we plan for a picnic..So my post is gonna be Aloo tikki…This is a dish that can be enjoyed as it is..but I put it inside a burger so that it becomes a complete meal….
Ingrediants:
Potato-2 cup mashed(I used instant mashed potato powder)
Frozen Peas-1 cup
Mint leaves- ½ cup chopped
Coriander leaves- ½ cup chopped
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Breadcrumbs- ½ cup
Chat masala-1 tsp
Tomato Ketchup-1 tblspn
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
For Burger:
Burger buns
Mayonaisse
Tomato ketchup
Lettuce leaves
Method:
In a mixing bowl add potato,peas,chilli powder,garam masala powder,chat masala,mint,coriander leaves,tomato ketchup,breadcrumbs and mix well.
Form pattice out of it.
In a frying pan heat some oil and fry this in the oil till golden on both sides.
For turing this into burger…Just toast some burger bun in a pan till golden.
Apply a good amount of mayo on one side of the bun.
Put some crunchy lettuce leaves.Top it with the burger pattice.
Apply tomato ketchup on the other side of the bun and cover the burger.
Serve hot or wrap it in foil and take it to your favorite picnic destination.
Pictorial:
Ur ingrediants..Please add some breadcrumbs also..i forgot to add that..
For your information i am using instant potato powder
mix mashed potato with peas,coriander leaves,mint leaves,garam masala powder,red chilli powder…
Add chat masala powder, tomato ketchup, salt, breadcrumbs and mix well
make pattice
fry in oil
Done
Assemble the burger by adding mayo to toasted buns and add some crunchy lettuce, burger pattice, ketchup and cover it with other bun
SERVE..
