Hi,
What is the reason we need to sear the chicken before adding to the gravy?
Aarthi
@Happy CookingIt gives a nice texture and taste to the chicken

I am a weekend cook and bear the responsibility of cooking nonveg, leaving the harder veg part to my lovely wife.
I have tried other recipes from you as well. The fact that you post step by step details with clear pictures is a great help. I have been a regular at your site for many years..
Andhra Chicken with coconut turned out to be fantastic. I wasnt sure when to add green chillies - You have omitted that step. In my case, I put that in the grinder with ginger garlic paste. Als, I added pinches of salt when cooking the curry and searing chicken as well- All in all great recipe. You made my family happy. God bless you
