Baked Chicken Nuggets Recipe

Chicken Nuggets are
my favorite. I have a fried version here, which I don’t make often because I
kind off stayed away from fried foods.. I wanted to make a baked version of
these so I can enjoy it often. The one thing which turned off me these many
days is I always thought that the chicken will turn dry when it is baked. But
when I came across this recipe, I wanted to try it ASAP. I was quite
surprised with the result. These nuggets turned so juicy and moist at the same
time it was crispy. Hope you will try it someday.

Ingredients:

Boneless Chicken – 1/2 kg ( I used thigh meat)
Olive Oil –  3 tblspn
Salt to taste
Black pepper – to taste
Oregano – 1 tsp
Bread Crumbs – as needed
Red Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Spray Cooking Oil to coat the pan

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200 Degree C / 400 Degree F. Line a baking tray with foil and spray it lightly with oil.

Take oil, salt, pepper, oregano in a bowl and mix well.

Add the chicken pieces in this and mix well. Let this marinate for 30 mins.

Take breadcrumbs, salt and chilli flakes in a plate and mix well.

Take the chicken and coat it with the breadcrumbs and arrange it in the tray.

Place this tray in the oven and let it bake for 30-35 mins.

Remove from the oven and serve with ketchup.

Hi aarthi. Is there any special specification in case we use a MW oven for your baking recipes. Will be really useful if you can mention a note for MW oven users.

Hi Aarthi – had a basic question.. Is oregano spicy? Have never tried oregano before and would want to tryout your recipe for my kid who cannot tolerate even a little amount of spice.. Your recipe looks yummy n delicious and am very much tempted to try it ..

@namita shankarno it is not spicy, it is flavourful and gives the aroma which a pizza or pasta needs
