I am new to this drink. I first tasted this in a mall here. I had it with hot chicken strips burgers, vegetable nuggets, french fries. I was really blown away with this. It tasted amazing with those hot foods. I immediately got inspired by this drink, i asked them what did they used for the colour. Is it food colouring or something else. They told it was blue curacao syrup.

I have never heard about this before though it was readily available in the supermarket shelves.I think, I have never paid attention to them. Immediately i went to the supermaket and got a bottle of that. The next day i made this yummy drink. I posted the pic on facebook and many of you asked for the recipe. So i made it again and took pics for you. Seeing my love for this syrup, next day hubby got me a bottle of pink granadine syrup. How sweet is he! I made a pink sparkling lemonade with that, will post that soon.

    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Serves - 1

    Ingredients:

Curacao Bleu Syrup - 1 to 2 tblspn (I used Monin)
    Icecubes as needed
Simple Syrup - 2 to 3 tblspn or as needed (Recipe below)
Club Soda Water - as needed
    Mint Leaves - few sprigs
    Lemon Wedges - few

    For Simple Syrup:
    Sugar - 1 cup
    Water - 2 cup

    Method:

    Start by
making Simple Syrup. Take sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring it to a
boil and mix till sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5 mins. Switch off the
flame and allow it to cool down. Store this in a clean sterlized bottle
and keep in fridge till you need it.

Now make the mocktail. Take a serving glass, fill it half way with ice.

Add in curacao syrup, simple syrup, soda water, mint leaves and lemon wedges.

    Mix this whole thing up.

    Serve immediately.

    Notes:
    You
can keep the simple syrup in fridge and enjoy it whenever you need it.
You can store this upto 3 months or more when properly refrigerated.

The way you show how to prepare it is very easy understanding and it is a good step to step procedure. I'm also having Monin only. can you please tell me other drinks in your list. I'll see and prepare them also. In your list tell me what are the drinks are there. You are having so many items its really good.

I don’t usually comment but this recipe looks amazing, so I thought I should let you know. It reminded me of a juice i make regularly at home – pomegranate juice with mint and lime. I use chilled KDD harvest’s pomegranate juice, and pretty much follow the your procedure of putting in ice, mint and lime. It is refreshing and tasty at the same time. Any idea where I can find the blue syrup? And also, which is the other pink drink next to it? looks interesting. Thanks 😛
