Broccoli Pepper Fry Recipe

This is one of the easiest poriyal or stir fry you could make for any of your gravy dishes. It taste superb and goes pretty much with anything, specially rasam rice, sambar rice or curd rice..


Pepper Potatoes
Chettinad Potatoes
Bombay Potatoes
Simple Potato Roast
Panch Phoron Potatoes
Potato Capsicum Roast
Jeera Aloo
Sambar Potato Roast
Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.
Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Serves : 2 to 3

Ingredients:

Broccoli – 1 medium size cut into florets
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1/2 tsp


For Fry:
Oil – 1 tblspn
Garlic – 5 cloves chopped finely
Curry leaves a small handful
Green Chilli – 2 sliced at an angle
Onion – 1 medium size sliced thinly
Freshly Ground Black Pepper – 1 tsp or to taste
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste


Method:

Bring lots of water to a good boil, add in salt and turmeric powder. Add in broccoli in and cook for 4 to 5 mins till the broccoli is done. Drain and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Add in garlic, chillies, curry leaves and onions. Saute till light golden.

Add in salt and turmeric powder. 

Toss in the broccoli. Saute till it gets brown.

Now add in pepper and toss well.

Serve.

Take all your ingredients
These are some broccoli cut into small florets
I chopped the stalks of the broccoli as well
Bring water to a boil
add in salt
and some turmeric
add broccoli in
let it cook for few mins till tender
drain them
Heat oil in a pan
add in onion,. garlic, curry leaves and green chillies
saute till golden
Add in some turmeric
saute well
add in the cooked broccoli
sprinkle some salt
saute well
cook till it gets golden
now add in pepper
toss once
Serve
