Baked Butter Bun with Vanilla Butter Cream Filling

Butter Bun
Hai Friends…Hope everyone have started a blissful week ahead..Todays recipe is gonna be Butter Buns..Soft Buttery Buns filled with a rich cream is the characteristic of this Buns..This can be served for dinner parties or as a snack..I think that you all should give this a try and let me know what you think..

Ingrediants:

For Dough:
Flour-1 cup / 120 gms
Melted Butter-2 tblspn
Sugar-2 tblspn
Warm Milk-3/4 cup or as required
Yeast-1 tsp
Salt a pinch
For filling:
Butter-100 gm
Icing sugar-2 tblspn
Vanilla essence-1 tsp
Method:
Mix yeast,sugar with warm milk and set aside for 5 min.It will get foamy.
In a mixing bowl..Add flour,salt and mix well.
Pour in the yeast mixture and form a soft dough.Pour in the melted butter and knead for 5 min.Let it sit for 30 min or until it doubles in size.
Punch the air out of it and knead for 5 min.
Make small balls from it and arrange in a foil lined tray.Let it rest for 30 more min or until doubles in size.
Preheat the oven to 200°C(400°F)
Place this tray in the oven and bake for 15-20 min or until the top gets golden.
Remove this from the oven and let it cool completely.
Meanwhile make the filling by beating butter,sugar,vanilla till fluffy.
When the buns are cooled cut it in the middle and put a dollop of filling in this..spread it evenly.Cover with the other half and serve…

Grab your ingrediants

Let it rest…
Form dough balls out of it.Allow it to rest and Bake it
Make Butter cream as given in the method…
Cot open the buns
Apply the cream in it
Cover it
SERVE

    @AnonymousIt is because you must have added hot water over it or added too cold water so it is not activated.

    Hi aarthi,
    I have already tried some of ur cakes and cookies. They turned out well. Today I tried this bun. Its really nice. Thanks for such an easy recipe. After 15 mins of baking buns were fine top crust was golden brown. But the bottom was not baked correctly. I just flipped my buns and kept for two more mins. This happens wirh my cookies too. Without flipping if I bake for more time top is becoming black. What shld I do to correct this?? Thanks in advance.
