I can remember my childhood days when I start making dishes like this..Because when we were little, amma used to make this deep fried snacks before we come from school or college..
She makes it the right time so that when we reach home, we will be welcomed with a heady aroma of this bhajjis…Amma make this bhajji with potato, raw banana, brinjals or onions..My favorite in that is onion bhajji’s..Soon I will post that recipe soon..
This bhajji’s are best had with some hot Indian chai..This taste equally delicious with some masala chai too(recipe soon)…

Ingrediants:
Cauliflower-1 cut into florets
Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu / Besan-2 cups
Ginger Garlic Paste-1 tblspn
Baking powder-1 tsp
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder / Manjal podi-1 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Method:
Bring water to boil and add in salt and turmeric to it..Now add in cauliflower florets in this and cook for 1 mins..Drain this and set aside.
Now make a batter by mixing gram flour, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, baking powder, asafoetida, ginger garlic paste and some water..Make this batter little bit thicker..
Now heat oil for deep frying..Dip the cauliflower in this batter and fry it in oil..
Cook till it gets golden..Drain and serve with mint chutney or ketchup..

fry that in hot oil |
fry till golden. |

in a paper towel…In our case a news paper |
Serve with a cup of hot chai.. |
