Since diwali is in a few days i have started making so many snacks and sweets for diwali..So i made a big batch of my homemade khoya, For Homemade Khoya, Check out traditional version , instant version..
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time :25 to 30 mins
Makes : 12 to 15 squares
Khoya / Mawa – 2 cup (Instant Khoya in Microwave,
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder – 1 tsp
Chocolate Chips – 2 tblspn
Ghee – 1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp
Take 1/2 tsp ghee in a plate and grease it well. Set aside.
Now in a nonstick pan, take the remaining 1/2 tsp ghee and melt it, add in khoya and sugar and mix well.
Cook this on medium heat till it comes together as a mass and leaves the sides of the pan. Switch off the flame.
Divide it into two portion, Spoon the white portion in the plate and spread it evenly.
Now in the remaining portion, add in cocoa powder and chocolate chips and mix well till the chocolate melts..Dont need to heat this..the residual heat from the khoya will melt the chocolate.
Now spoon this over the khoya mix and spread evenly.
Let this set till it cools. Cut into squares and serve

|heat little ghee in a pan|
|add in khoya|
|mix well in ghee|
|add in sugar|
|cook them on medium heat|
|now it will start to form a lump|
|Now you will see it leaving the sides..done|
|divide it into two portion|
|take one portion and spoon into the plate|
|spread it evenly|
|now in the remaining portion..take it off the heat|
|add in cocoa powder|
|add in chocolate chips|
|now it is done|
|spoon this over the white layer|
|spread evenly..cool it and cut it into squares|
