Making Coconut Chutney has become one of our daily duty, because we serve idli or dosa for breakfast on most working days and coconut chutney is best served with that and hubby likes it a lot than any other chutney. I like to experiment with different style of coconut chutney, you can view all my chutney recipes here. With no more delay off you go to the recipe.

      HI,

I am very impressed with your cooking style. Simple and easy. But I have a doubt. When you say 1 cup, what is the size actually. I have cups of different sizes and I am afraid if I follow the measurements in your ingredient but used the wrong size cup, everything will be ruined. Thank you.

Thanks for this lovely chutney recipe! It was absolutely delicious!! My only 1 comment about is the ground coconut doesn't mix very well with water. Hence I can't get it to be pasty like yours. My ground chutney is made up of coconut and water which is 'separated' from coconut. How do I get it to be pasty? I didn't add much water at all, yet it's not integrated very well. Pls advise. Thanks

@AnonymousI would suggest you to grind the coconut with some hot water, add little water at a time and grind it. use the smaller jar of the mixer grinder
