    Hope everyone had a
great weekend. I had a good one too, but not a great one, I have totally
recovered from my fever and dizzyness and feeling quite good today. I baked
three cakes for my business yesterday and got it delivered. I think which is
quite a good start. Enjoy your week guys.

    I brought you a
amazing recipe today, to make you all healthy and kick start your week. It is a
awesome oats porridge, it is not your regular porridge, it has lots of crunchy
nuts and juicy fruits in it. To enhance the taste, there is a yummy orangy sauce
drizzled all over the top. There is no healthy way to start a day other than
    this.

    So get rid of your
regular oats and give it a orange twist to it..

Makes - 4 cups of porridge
    Serves - 2 -3

    Ingredients:
Quick Cooking Oats - 1 cup
    Milk - 3 cup
    Sugar / Honey as needed
Nuts - as needed ( I used Almonds, Pista, Walnuts)
    Sultanas / Kishmish - 3 tblspn
    For Orange Sauce:
Fresh Orange Juice - 1 cup
    Sugar / honey as needed
    For Toppings:
Nuts - as needed ( I used Almonds, Pista, Walnuts)
    Peeled Orange Segments
    Method:
Soak sultanas in warm water for 10 mins till it turns soft and plumps up.
Take milk in a saucepan and add oats to it. Let this cook on a medium heat for 5 -8 mins till it is cooked and turns creamy. Add sugar or honey to this and mix well.  Add in the soaked sultanas, nuts and mix well.
Ladle this into individual bowls and set aside.
Now lets make the orange sauce. Take orange juice in a sauce pan and put it on heat. Let this come to a boil and cook untill it is reduced by half. Add in sugar and boil for a min. Take it off the heat and drizzle few spoon over the oats bowl.
Sprinkle some more nuts on top and place orange segments on top.

      Hi Aarthi,

      hey looks awesome...

Which other fruits can be used to make syrup similar to Oranges? (Just to have some more variety).
Also can we prepare and preserve this syrup for couple of days?
