Dragon Chicken / Chicken with Bell Peppers & Cashews – Restaurant Style

In our place there is a restaurant which is quite famous one..They make this dish which taste awesome,indeed it is their signature dish…I couldn’t resist having it..

They add tons and tons of cashew nuts in their dish…Somehow I got the recipe and tried it..I should tell you this,it tasted awesome..

So I am giving you the recipe and forcing you to try it once..I know you will  do it..So here you go straight to the step by step recipe with pictures..

Ingrediants:

Chicken-200 gms (Boneless)

Bell pepper-1

Spring Onion-2

Green chillies-2

Tomato-1

Cashews-5 tblspn

Ginger Garlic Paste-1 tblspn

Chilli powder-1 tsp

Garam masala powder-1 tsp

Oil for deep frying +2 tblspn

For Sauce:

Soy Sauce-1 tblspn

Tomato Ketchup-2 tblspn

Vinegar-1 tblspn

Ajinomoto / MSG-1 tsp

Salt to taste

For Batter:

Corn flour-3 tblspn

All Purpose Flour / Maida-5 tblspn

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Water as needed

Method:

Mix the sauce ingrediants together and set aside..

Now mix the batter ingrediants together and make into a smooth paste..

Cut up your chicken and dip it in the batter..Deep fry till golden and cooked through..Remove and set aside..

Heat oil in a kadai..Add in ginger garlic paste and mix well..

Now add in cashews and fry for few minutes…Now add in bell pepper,green chillies,tomatoes and mix well..

Add in chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well..

Add in the fried chicken pieces and toss well…Pour in the sauce ingrediants and mix well.

Cook on a high heat till the sauce evaporates..

Add some spring onion and serve..

Pictorial:
Take all your ingrediants
Mix sauce ingrediants together…
Cut up ur chicken breast or any chicken
mix it with batter
fry in oil
till it gets golden and cooked
drain it
chop up all ur veggies
saute some ginger and garlic paste in oil
step away it will splatter a lot
add in bell peppers and chillies
make a well in the center
add in the cashews
fry for few minutes
mix all together
add in chilli powder
and garam masala powder
mix well
add the fried chicken piece in
toss well
pour in the sauce
and mix well
garnish with spring onions
And serve
