Easy Chocolate Bark Recipe – Chocolate Bark with Nuts & Dried Fruits Toppings

Chocolate Bark, a easy and quick desert you can make..It is nothing but melted chocolate topped with nuts and dried fruits..This is such a versatile recipe. You ca adjust it and modify it as per your likings. You can use any of your favourite chocolates, any of your favourite toppings..


Some of the topping ideas for these bars are

Crunchy Toppings:
Almonds ,Walnuts ,Macadamia nuts ,Pecans ,Peanuts,Pistachios,Cashews, Pine nuts

Chewy Toppings: 
Dried figs ,Dried apricots ,Dried cherries ,Dried cranberries 
Dried mangoes ,Raisins ,Mini marshmallows ,Candied orange peel,Crystallized ginger

Exotic ingredients to sprinkle over:
Red pepper flakes ,Flaky sea salt ,Crushed cardamom seeds,Toasted fennel seeds,Peppermints ,Toffee,Toasted coconut flakes

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Makes: 12 barks

Ingredients:
Chocolate Chips – 1 cup ( I used semi sweet)
Nuts – 1/2 cup ( i used cashews, chironji, pista, pumpkin seeds)
Dried Fruits – 3 tblspn ( i used tutti fruitti and sultanas)
Method:
Melt chocolate in a dry bowl over a pan of simmering water gently.

once melted, pour it in a parchment paper and spread evenly.

Sprinkle nuts and dried fruits. Set it in fridge till it is set.
Cut into barks and serve.
Store it in fridge always.

Pictorial:
Take your favourite nuts and dried fruits
i used cashews, pumpkin seeds, pistachios and chironji
roast them for few mins and set aside to cool down
Take your favourite chocolate chips..You can use dark, white, semi sweet or milk
melt them gently over a pan of simmering water
look it has started to melt down
now it is melted and smooth
lay a nonstick or parchment paper
spoon the chocolate mix over this
spread it evenly using a spatula
spread out thinly
sprinkle the nuts
top with dried fruits
press lightly
set it fridge till it sets
peel from the parchment
cut into barks
