A spicy addition to your regular roti or chapati which adds so much flavour to it. You can have this roti as it is or with some yogurt or pickle.
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper -1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil or Ghee - 1 tsp + for making roti
  1. Take cumin and pepper in a small pan and roast till golden.
  2. Take it in a blender and powder coarse.
  3. Take wheat flour, salt, powdered pepper and cumin mix, oil and mix well.
  4. Add in water and knead to a soft dough. Cover and leave aside for 30 mins.
  5. Take small portion and roll it.
  6. Cook on a pan till cooked on both sides. Apply ghee or oil when making,.
  7. Serve.
