Tomato Mint Chutney Recipe

Super fragrant and easy to make tomato mint chutney which goes well with idli or dosa. You can have this with some roti as well.
  • Oil - 1 tblsp
  • Dry Red Chillies - 2
  • Tomatoes - 2 chopped
  • Mint Leaves - 1 cup
  • Tamarind - a small piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to tast
  • Oil - 1 tblsp
  • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - ½ tsp
  • Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu - ½ tsp
  • Curry Leaves a sprig
  1. Heat oil in a pan,add dry red chillies and saute for a min.
  2. Add tomatoes and cook till mushy.
  3. Add in mint and mix well. Add tamarind and mixwell.
  4. Take it in a blender and add in salt and sugar. Puree till smooth.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and urad dal. Add curry leaves and let them sizzle.
  6. Add tomato mix and stir.
  7. Serve with idli or dosa.
