  • Sugar - ¾ cup (150 grams)
  • Curd / Plain Yogurt - 1 cup (240 ml)
  • Vegetable Oil - ½ cup (120 ml)
  • Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder - 1¼ tsp
  • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - ½ tsp
  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1½ cup (180 grams)
  • Frozen Dairy Free Whipping Cream - 1 cup
  • Gulab Jamun as needed with syrup
  • Silver Varak as needed
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Grease two cake pan with oil and dust with flour and set aside.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder and set aside.
  3. Take oil, sugar, yogurt and vanilla in a bowl and mix well till sugar is melted.
  4. Now add in baking soda. Mix well till foamy.
  5. Add in the dry ingredients and fold gently.
  6. Spoon this between the cake pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 mins.
  8. Remove the cake and cool it completely. Unmould it.
  9. Now whip some cream till stiff.
  10. Take a cake, soak it with the gulab jamun syrup.
  11. Spoon some cream on it. Cut few jamuns and arrange it on the cake.
  12. Spread more cream.
  13. Place another cake and cover whole cake with cream.
  14. Chill the cake for few hours.
  15. Decorate with gulab jamun and top with silver varak.
  16. Serve.
