Healthy poha curd or curd aval makes a light lunch or dinner. This is not only light on tummy but is a popular maharastrian recipe.
Ingredients
  • Aval / Poha - 2 cups
  • Curd - ½ cup
  • Milk - 1 cup or as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds / Kaduku - ¼ tsp
  • Urad dal / Ulundu - ½ tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - ¼ tsp
  • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi a pinch
  • Curry leaves a sprig
  • Green Chillies - 1 chopped finely
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tblsp
Instructions
  1. Mix poha with water, curd and milk. Add salt and mix well.
  2. Heat ghee and add all ingredients. Let them sizzle.
  3. Pour this over poha and mix well.
  4. Serve cold.
