Recipe Source:Garam Masala Broasted chicken is easy to make. This fried chicken recipe is so perfect which gives you similar one to kfc fried chicken and it taste amazing with garlic sauce.
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Chicken with skin and bones - 1 whole chicken cut into 12 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Lemon Juice or vinegar - 1 tblsp
  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 2 cups
  • Cornflour - ¾ cup
  • Garlic powder - 2 tblsp
  • Dried Parsley - 1 tblsp
  • Dried Oregano - 2 tblsp
  • Dried Basil - 1 tblsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper - 2 tsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tblsp
  • Egg - 2
  • Water - ¼ cup
  • Salt to taste
  1. Mix chicken with salt, pepper and vinegar and set aside.
  2. Take flour in a bowl along with all ingredients given together. Set aside.
  3. Take egg, salt, water in a bowl and whisk well.
  4. Now take chicken, coat in flour, then dip in egg and then coat in flour. Pack it well.
  5. Set aside in a plate to dry for 5 mins.
  6. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, drop chicken in and fry for 30 seconds to 45 seconds.
  7. Cover the cooker and pressure cook for 1 or 2 whistle.
  8. Now switch off the flame and let it sit for 5 mins.
  9. Now release the pressure carefully by lifting the whistle with a spoon.
  10. Now open the cooker, and heat it again and fry till the outer layer gets crispy again.
  11. Now drain it and serve hot.
