Coconut halwa not only taste amazing but is very easy to make as well. This halwa is fast to make and literally used ingredients which you already have.
  • Dessicated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 3 tblsp
  • Sugar - ⅓ cup or to taste
  • Cashew - 3 tblsp chopped finely
  • Raisins - 3 tblsp
  • Almonds / Badam - ¼ cup
  • Milk - ½ cup
  • Cardamom Powder - ½ tsp
  1. Take almonds in a blender, blend them. Add in milk and grind to a smooth paste. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tblsp ghee in a pan, fry nuts and set aside.
  3. Take desicated coconut in the same pan and stir fry for a min.
  4. Add in milk and cook for 2 to 3 mins.
  5. Add in badam paste and mix well. Cook till it gets thick.
  6. Add in sugar and mix well. Cook till it leaves the sides of the pan, add ghee little by little and mix well.
  7. Add in cardamom powder and fried nuts and mix well.
  8. Serve.
