Sometimes, we just feel like having something sweet. Cookies comes to our mind immediately, because they are small and we dont feel too guilty in eating one of them. But too lazy to make one, then online food ordering sites like food panda comes handy, just one click and we get our favorite subway chocolate cookies on hands..As a addition, we have so many coupons which we can use in these sites to get the best offer. All of them available in one of the coupon site called shoppal. How cool is that..

But someday…just someday…we don’t feel like having cookies which are too sweet, then these cookies are the answer. They are sweet, spicy and flavourful all packed in one cookie. This goes best with a cup of chai or coffee than a cup of milk..So try this out and let me know how it turns out..
Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 15 to 20 mins
Makes : 15 to 18

Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 cup
Wheat Flour / Atta – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 2 tblspn Powdered
Salt – 1 tsp
Whole Jeera – 2 tsp
Coarse Pepper Powder – 2 tsp
Sesame Seeds / Ellu – 2 tblspn
Butter or Ghee – 1/2 cup
Milk- 1 tsp if needed( I didn’t use it)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180 Degree C. Line a baking sheet with foil and butter it.
Take both flour, pepper powder, sesame seeds, jeera, salt in a bowl and mix well.
Take butter or ghee in a bowl, add in powdered sugar and beat till creamy.
Once it is mixed up, add the dried stuff in it and mix well to form into a dough. You can use little milk if it is too dry.
Now cover it well with plastic wrap or foil and chill it for 30 mins or so.
Now open it up and place another sheet of foil over it and roll it out into 2 cm thickness.
Take a cookie cutter and cut out small cookies. Arrange it on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 mins till it is light golden.
You can take small portions of dough and roll into balls and bake that too instead of cutting cookies.
Once it is baked, remove it to cooling rack and let it cool completely before storing in a air tight container.
Serve with a cup of chai.

Pictorial:
Take regular all purpose flour and wheat flour in a bowl

Add in sesame seeds, cumin seeds, pepper powder and salt

mix well

Take ghee or butter in a bowl

add sugar

Beat till it is creamy

Add the dried ingredients

Knead to a dough. You can add some milk if needed

Wrap it in foil or plastic wrap and chill it

now time to roll

cover the top with another foil

use a rolling pin to roll

all rolled

Now time to cut

You can use a cookie cutter..i used a small lid

cut it out

you can cut it in any shapes

Use the leftover scraps to roll again and cut out

arrange in a baking sheet..Leave space they will spread a little

bake till golden

Serve

I rolled few dough and baked it till golden. They came out pretty good too..
