I cannot believe that I am telling you this..YES my little blog has 600 recipes now..YAY!!! You don’t know how excited I am, I just can’t believe this still..I can see that how much I have cooked in these many days. And one more thing which I wanted to tell you is, I love blogging and cooking..
I want to celebrate this special day with a special post. So I am giving you a very simple, but very yummy and spectacular recipe..It is a No Bake Eggless Mango Cheese Cake..Are you wondering that you can’t find cream cheese in your place so you cannot make this recipe, no worries, this recipe doesn’t need cream cheese..YES how cool is that..I cannot find cream cheese in my place too..
Do you think that you need spring form pan to make cheese cake these many days..Then please change your thoughts. I don’t own a spring form pan. You need to prepare your basic round pan accordingly so that it acts like a spring form pan. It takes a bit of time, but it is totally worth it.
This recipe is so special to me..Because I tried this for the first time, and I can make it close to perfection. The taste was sooooo good, my totally family digged in to it. I got so many compliments for this recipe from my relatives and family. I wanted all of you to try it..I know this will make a special recipe to celebrate this special day..
Check out my other celebration post too.

Ingrediants:
For Base:
Biscuit – 30 powdered finely ( I used Milk Bikis, You can use anything)
Butter – 100 gms Melted
For Cheese Layer:
Paneer / Cottage Cheese – 200 gms
Condensed Milk / Milk maid – 1 tin / 400 ml
Sugar – 2 tblspn
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Geletin – 3 tblspn
Mango Puree – 300 ml
For Mango Jelly Topping:
Mango Puree – 300 ml
Gelatin – 2 tblspn
Method:
Start by soaking the gelatin in cold water. You can use all the gelatin given for the cheese layer as well as the amount give for mango jelly and soak it together for around 15 mins till it plumps up.
Now lets make fake spring form pan. Take a round tin. Line it with foil, make sure the foil comes over the top, so that it will be easy to pull the cheese cake later from the tin. Then line it with cling wrap. Then line the bottom with some parchment paper. The cake tin is done.
Now lets make the base of the cheese cake. Take biscuits in a blender and make into a fine powder. Melt some butter in a pan. Switch off the flame and add the powdered biscuit into it. Mix well. Now pour this in the base of the tin and press it slightly and make a even base. Put the tin in the freezer for 10 mins.
Now make the cheese layer. Take paneer, condensed milk, vanilla, sugar in a blender and make into a fine puree. Pour this in a bowl and add 300 ml of mango puree to it. Mix well.
Now take some water in a sauce pan, and bring it to boil. Add the soaked softened gelatin and mix well till they are dissolved. Now pour half of this gelatin mixture to the cheese mixture and mix well. Pour this over the biscuit layer and put it in the freezer for 10 mins.
Now mix the rest of the gelatin in the 300 ml of mango and mix well. Pour it over the cheese layer and return it back in the fridge for 4-6 hours.
Now remove the cheese cake slowly from the pan with the help of foil and cling film and place it over the plate.
Return it back to the fridge till serving. Slice and serve.

Hi there.. Congrats for 600th post!!I really like the recipe but I don't use Gelatin. If you are going egg-less, you should consider finding non-animal options for gelatin like agar-agar (Chinese grocery store has it), pectin or Guar-gum (should be available in India). Just MHO… I love your recipe and I will definitely try it.
@AJYes, i was planning to try this with china grass next time..
@MadhuPaal Kolukattai will be posted very soon..
@AnonymousCondensed milk is the one which is thick and sweet..Not the unsweetened reduced milk
This cake looks amazing

Congrats.Amazing recipe.I love all ur recipes so much.Could you tell me the size of cake pan 6 inch or 8inch for this mango cheesecake?
Congrats on your 600th post!
Your recipes look great, however being vegetarian,
an eggless receipe with gelatin would be very
contradictory. Please post a cheesecake recipe without gelatin.
Thanks!

I made this wonderful dessert today and it was just awesome!
Hi Aarthi!
Wonderful cake!
I notice that you didn't use springform pan, but instead use regular pan lined with cling wrap.
I wonder how did you take the cake out without damaging your cake? Did you turn it upside down or lift the cake up by pulling the cling wrap?
@KarinaYes you can pull it using a cling wrap. But i turned i upsidedown and peeled the cling wrap off and turned it over again.
hey Aarthi, looks good…i want to try…but why using paneer? why can't we use processed cheese? it will not come nicely?
@kavithaNo you can't use it..
thanks aarthi…i will try in the weekend 🙂 thanks for sharing nice and innovative items…!!
Hi Aarthi!!
I'm so glad that I finally got a site which doesn't offer fancy recipes! ur recipes are so homely as well as easy to make . I especially love the no-make desserts. I'm a die-hard foodie and love cooking 🙂
Thanku.
Hi Arthi,
Wonderful blog and mouth watering recipes!
I try to avoid gelatin as it derived from the collagen mainly inside pig skin (hide) and cattle bones. Do you think there is a substitute for Gelatin.
Let me know, thanks!
Sangeeta
@AnonymousYes u can use china grass in place of gelatin
Looks Yummy ! I want to try making this but my concern is the amount of water, how much water you can mix ?.
@Anonymous Use 1/2 cup t0 3/4 cup of water to soak the gelatin and mix in
Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing! But I'm a vegetarian n according to my understanding, gelatin is sourced from animals….is there any substitute for gelatin u might suggest?
@kathleenU can use Chinagrass instead of gelatin
So this was the main Attraction today at the table for my husband's birthday… It tasted delicious but i might have added the gelatin less bcz it didnt freeze.. :-$ but i will try it again, will try to get over my mistakes !! 🙂 once again thanx for such a nice recipe :)the pictorials are SUCH a big help !!
Hi aarthi,I liked all of your recipes……gelatin and yeast both are same? or where can i find it?
@MadhaviNO Yeast and Gelatin are completely different. You can find it in any super market

Hi Aarthi, thank you so much for making the complicated cheese cake sound so easy. One thing I would like to know, what quantity of china grass/ agar agar should be used instead of gelatin

Aarthi we cant get paneer here can I use cream cheese instead.
Hi Aarthi
The recipe looks really yum n super quick. I wanted to know about how you removed it finally from the pan.
@Anonymousyes u can use cream cheese for paneer
@AnonymousJust remove it from the tin with the help of foil
Can I use cream cheese or any other cheese? And do I have to mix cheese in blender or I can use electric bitter instead?
Can you tell the proportion of jelatin pls? In gram/ml ?
@AnonymousYes u can use cream cheese, mix it using handblender
@AnonymousNot sure about the grams..
Can we make this cheese cake with fresh orange juice .If so should i use same 300 ml of juice as it is a good season of oranges here.
@AnonymousYes u can..use same amount..
As you had specified to use same amount of china grass instead of gelatin for both the layers how much water should we use .
@Anonymousadd 1/2 cup to 1 cup of water
U mean whole agar agar packet of China grass dissolved in 1/2cup water .?
Can I omit mango purée in cheese layer..?
@Anonymousyes. Mango puree in cheese layer makes it tasty.
How can we remove the cake perfectly from the pan??
@Anonymousyes u can
Glad to see a dessert that can be easily made in India with the regular items from the general store! its even mabgo season now. just need a pan and some time to make thses. yum! looks delishh
I was looking for cheese cake recipe that does not require a fancy pan. I stumbled upon your website. This idea of a fake spring pan of yours is yummily tummiliciously super duper one. The substitutes you have used for the original ingredients in the recipe is so cool. Actually the signs of an very efficient and a good chef. Loved going through the recipe. Shall let you know, if it worked for me or not.
What should be the amount of agar agar if I use it instead of gelatin?
Aarthi i belong to a small town & it seems difficult to find gelatin at my end. Can i replace gelatin with flavoured jelly crystals? Will it work or it will mess with the whole recipe. Please advice.
@Anonymousjelly wont work. u can use china grass
@Anonymousdouble the amount of agar agar
Hello, can you please give a recipe on cheesecake made from homemade cream cheese

hi, im your new follower. ive tried a few recipes from your blog and to-date viewing your wonderful recipes…
i really like your pictorial, rather than imagining the cooking items/ ingredients.
one question, what i can use as substitute to gelatin?
@geetha anjaliu can use china grass
Can you give a baked cheese cake recipe.
Hi… Great recipe… If I am using cream cheese, do I just replace it with the paneer cheese and just follow the rest of the recipe? Still need to add the condense milk? Thanks..
can u give a baked cream cheese cake recipe
@Anonymoushttps://www.yummytummyaarthi.com/2015/10/baked-eggless-cheesecake-recipe-eggless.html
@Unknownyes u have to use condensed milk
I tried this dessert but the second layer is kinda grainy no matter howmuch ever I puree it. Will this be an issue ? Why did it become grainy?
it is because of paneer. no issues, it will work out when u add mangoes
So should we use 300ml mango puree for cheese layer and another additional 300ml mango puree for jelly topping..So totally we need 600ml mango puree know? And pls suggest me 300ml mango puree in cup measurements
1 cup mango puree measures 240 ml.so use accordingly
Hey, Thanks a lot for this recipe I am going to try it tonight for my mom's birthday. Could we use butter paper instead of Parchment paper?
I have used it for Muffins earlier. Also could you please elaborate on how to take the cake out of the tin.
I will be indebted to you for all my life if I could pull this recipe off for my mother.
Hi, can I add some hung curd to paneer?
Hi, can I add some hung curd to paneer?
yes you can
wow…. thought cheesecake is for experts. you made it looks so easy trying it rightaway……..thank u so much yummytummy……
will paneer give the same taste which creamcheese give? asking you coz i never tried cheescake rhat has paneer
If using china grass , what is the amount ? Is it same as gelatin ? And shud we hav to heat ot or jus dissolve ?
Hi, I tried it but unfortunately it didn’t get set even after 12hrs, please help me what can I do now?
Thanks Devi
I think Your gelatin was not mixed enough. U have to add more gelatin.
I read the full recipe, and looked at all the photos/instructions, and read all the reviews but my question is not fully answered. You stated to use 1/2 to 3/4 cup water to soften the geletin. then the recipe states to add water to pan and bring to a boil and then add the softened geletin. How much water do you put in the pan to boil? It seems like too much water will keep it from setting up firm. Please let me know—I have lots of mangos to use and I am looking all all your mango recipes.
Hi Aarthi
I had prepared this cake.taste super.texture has come jelly.
