This is a delicious oatmeal recipe for you. Oatmeal makes a great breakfast for you, it is super easy to make and is pretty filling on the tummy as well. This recipe is so nutritious for you because I added some flax seeds in them.
Flax seeds are high in fiber, micronutrients, manganese, omega 3. Adding it into your food daily will give you super energy. But regarding flax seeds too much of it could be bad for you. So always add 1 to 2 tsp of flax seeds to your meal.
I have been addicted to oatmeal recently and most of the time it is my breakfast of choice. Since I am breast feeding oatmeal makes a great meal for me, since it helps in increasing the breast milk supply without adding extra weight on my tummy.
I have shared so many oatmeal recipe in my blog. I made this oatmeal super healthy by using water to cook it. You can cook this in milk completely. I used brown sugar as sweetner, you can use honey, agave or have it with no sweetner as well. Instead of regular milk you can use soy milk or almond milk as well. Coconut milk will be good in this too. For making it more filling and nutritious, add some chopped fruits like apples, oranges, pear and some nuts like walnuts or almonds.

- Instant Oats - 1/2 cup
- Water - 1 cup
- Brown Sugar or Honey to taste
- Milk to taste if needed
- Flax Seeds - 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp
- Take oats, water, 1 tsp flax seeds in a sauce pan and heat it up.
- Cook this till it is done and oats in cooked.
- Now add in any sweetner as you like, milk to taste and mix well.
- Spoon this into serving bowl and top with 1/2 tsp flax seeds.
1)Take oats in a sauce pan, i am using instant oatmeal
2)Add in some flax seeds, it is so good for you. it has so many health benefits in them.
3)Add some water to cook the oats.
4)Cook till done, It will take just few minutes.
5)Add your favourite sweetner. I am using brown sugar. You can use honey or agave.
6)Add milk as needed, you can use soy milk or almond milk too.
7)Mix well, your oatmeal is done
8)Spoon it into serving bowl and drizzle more milk if needed.
9) Top with flax seeds or any nuts as you like and serve hot or warm.
