    Strawberries with French Toast

    I love sweet french toast, but hubby doesn't. He likes the savoury kind. So i make this french toast for me alone or when i am home alone. I love french toast with strawberries. They are a marriage made in heaven. It taste so yummy. I have already posted a eggless sweet french toast recipe and eggless savoury french toast recipe here. But i dont know why i didn't post this one till now.  Any way i now have the recipe for you all here..So try it and let me know how it turned out..

    Ingredients for Strawberries with French Toast

    • Bread Slices - 4
    • Egg - 1 large
    • Sugar - 1 tbsp
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
    • Milk - 3 tbsp
    • Butter around 1 tbsp for frying french toast

    For Strawberries:

    • Strawberry - 1 cup sliced
    • Sugar - 2 to 3 tbsp

    How to Make Strawberries with French Toast

    1. Take sliced strawberries in a bowl, spoon over the sugar and mix well to combine.
    2. Let them steep for 15 to 20 mins till the sugar is melted into the strawberries.
    3. Take a shallow bowl, crack open egg, add in sugar, vanilla and milk. Mix it well.
    4. Now melt some butter on a hot tawa.
    5. Dip the bread on the egg mixture on both sides and place over the hot butter.
    6. Cook on 1 mins on each side till it is golden and cooked.
    7. Remove to a plate and spoon over the marinated strawberries along with all the juices and serve.
