    French Toast Recipe / Strawberries with French Toast

    I love sweet french toast, but hubby doesn't. He likes the savoury kind. So i make this french toast for me alone or when i am home alone. I love french toast with strawberries. They are a marriage made in heaven. It taste so yummy. I have already posted a eggless sweet french toast recipe and eggless savoury french toast recipe here. But i dont know why i didn't post this one till now.  Any way i now have the recipe for you all here..So try it and let me know how it turned out..

    Preparation Time : 5 mins
    Cooking Time : 5 mins
    Serves : 1


    Ingredients:

    Bread Slices - 4
    Egg - 1 large
    Sugar - 1 tblspn
    Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
    Milk - 3 tblspn
    Butter around 1 tblspn for frying french toast

    For Strawberries:
    Strawberry - 1 cup sliced
    Sugar - 2 to 3 tblspn 

    Method:

    Take sliced strawberries in a bowl, spoon over the sugar and mix well to combine. Let them steep for 15 to 20 mins till the sugar is melted into the strawberries.

    Take a shallow bowl, crack open egg, add in sugar, vanilla and milk. Mix it well.

    Now melt some butter on a hot tawa.

    Dip the bread on the eggy mixture on both sides and place over the hot butter. Cook on 1 mins on each side till it is golden and cooked.

    Remove to a plate and spoon over the marinated strawberries along with all the juices and serve.

    Place bread over the egg mix

    Dip on both sides

    Place over tawa

    Flip and cook on other side too

    Remove to a serving plate

    Spoon lots of strawberries
