Healthy Brown Rice Egg Fried Rice Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Brown rice and Eggs .It is very Healthy and Delicious dish too.
This is one quick fried rice you can make with eggs. It is a healthy but taste so delicious. You can serve it as it is or as a side for any gravy. I used brown basmati rice for this so it is really healthy and rich in fibre. You can use normal rice as well. It is a great dish to put in your kids lunch box as well.

Ingredients for Brown Rice Egg Fried Rice
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Eggs - 2
- Spring Onion a handful finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 tsp minced
- Garlic - 1 tbsp minced
- Soy Sauce - 1 tsp or to taste
- Pepper Powder - 1 tbsp or to taste
- Salt to taste
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Cooked Brown Basmati Rice - 1.5 cup
How to make Brown Rice Egg Fried Rice
- Heat 1 tblspn of oil in a kadai or wok. Pour the egg in and scramble it lightly. Once it is scrambled, remove it to a plate.
- Now in the same pan, Add in ginger and garlic and saute for a min.
- Add in spring onions, Saute for couple of mins add in sugar and mix well.
- Now add in soy sauce. Mix well.
- Add in cooked rice and toss well. Season with salt and pepper..Stir fry this for couple of mins..
- Add in cooked eggs. Toss once.
- Serve hot.
For Cooking Brown Basmati Rice:
- I add 2.5 cups of water to 1 cup of washed rice. Bring it to a boil. Turn the heat down to a simmer put a lid on and cook for 15 mins or so till the rice has absorbed all the water. Turn off the heat, Now fluff up the rice and cover with lid again and let it sit for 10 mins. Rice done.

Brown Rice Egg Fried Rice Recipe
