Idli Onion Fry

 Idli Onion Fry
There are so many ways to use up leftover idlis…I have already posted chilli idli recipe in my blog..This is another one easy idli preparations..This is a simple dish for left over idlis..Very easy to prepare too..So hope you all give it a try and let me know what you think..

Ingrediants:
Idli-5 cut into pieces
Onion-1 sliced
Green chilli-2 slitted
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Mustard seeds/Kaduku-1 tsp
Cumin seeds/Jeera-1 tsp
Oil-1 tblspn
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Curry leaves-2 spring
Method:
In a kadai add oil and let it heat up.Crackle some cumin and mustard seeds in it.
Add in onions,curry leaves,green chilli and fry till golden.Add in the idli pieces along with salt and chilli powder and toss well.
Sprinkle with garam masala powder.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot..

    Dzoli..Idli's are indian steamed rice cakes…This is the basic dish in our place…We make it with ground rice batter..I will surely make a post of that soon..
