Delicious and spicy chapati which can be had as it is or with some curd and pickle. This makes a great recipe to put in your kids lunch box too.
One of my north indian neighbour taught my mom this recipe and she told me this. The chapati made this way is so flavourful and so tasty. You dont need any sidedish for this, just have it with some pickle or curd and it is good enough.

Kara Chapati Recipe
Ingredients
- Wheat flour - 2 cups
- Salt - to taste
- Water as needed
- Ghee as needed
- Chilli Powder as needed
- Cumin Seeds as needed
Instructions
- Take flour, salt in a bowl and mix well. Add water and knead to a soft dough. Divide the dough into equal balls.
- Take a dough, spread it lightly. Add a spoonful of ghee, salt, chilli powder and cumin seeds. Spread evenly.
- Fold it like a square and roll it out
- Cook on a hot pan till golden on both sides. Use ghee for frying.
- Serve hot with curd and pickle.
