My second day in ‘Cooking with Alphabet’..Today it is ‘L’. If you think of L, the first thing which comes to your mind is LEMON.
“AHEM  L for LEMON”
So lets makes some Lemon Custard!!!
Hmmm..May be some Lemon Curd or some Lemon Chicken!!!

Hmmm Still thinking!!!
OK LETS DO LEMON YOGURT CAKE..AHA..
When I saw this cake first, I decided that this is going to on my next baking list. And one fine day I baked it too..It was a lovely time when I baked, it was raining out heavily,,But I had this yummy lemony cake baking my oven..I had no patience to wait till the cake is done..It smelled so heavenly..The lemony aroma spread all over our house..
Even if you are a first time baker, I can promise you cannot go wrong in this cake. This cake turned out to be so soft and moist. I dredged it with a lemony icing which made it even more special..But you don’t have to do it.You can keep it plain and simple too.
Hope you love it and tell me what you think..I am sending this recipe to Blogging Marathan Day 2 with the theme ‘Cooking with Alphabets’.

Thanks for your reply Arthi.. In this recipe, you used butter.. So I can use 4oz of oil instead of butter…i think that's what you meant..

@Rosesorry that was a typo. You cannot use oil. Since butter has be whipped till creamy. it gives the softness to the cake
