Custard or pudding is many of us favourite..A silky smooth delicate melt in mouth pudding..So good cold, but some like it warm too..I have quite a lot of pudding recipes in my blog. And this is my latest addition. It is a chocolate version and is delicious..

This is quite a easy pudding, but it has egg in it. It is best served cold and the addition of cocoa powder and vanilla essence takes away the egg smell from this and make it taste wonderful..
Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 5 to 7 mins
Serves : 4 to 5

Ingredients:

Milk – 1.5 cup / 360 ml
Eggs – 3
Cocoa Powder – 2 tblspn
Sugar – 6 tblspn powdered
Vanilla Essence – 1 tblspn

Method:

Take powdered sugar, cocoa powder in a bowl whisk well. Add in eggs and milk and mix well. Add in vanilla and whisk well.Sieve this.

Pour this into the a microwave safe bowl.

Microwave it for 5 to 7 mins on high power. It may look giggly when u take out of the microwave, but it will set as it cools.  My pudding cooked in 7 mins.

Now take it out and set aside for 5 to 10 mins. Now chill this for 1 hour to 2 hours.

Invert it and cut and serve.

Pictorial:
Take all your ingredients
Take powdered sugar in a bowl
add in cocoa powder
whisk well
add in 3 eggs
whisk well
add in milk
add in vanilla
mix well
sieve it
this is chocolate custard mix
pour this into a microwave safe bowl
pop it in microwave and cook for 5 mins
let it stand for 10 mins
invert it
Chill for couple of hours and serve

Hi, i tried this recipe.. I cooked it for 8 mins. but it was little hard.. what could have gone wrong? I did not overcook as i felt it was watery . once its done i switched off. mine is 800W oven. Also measurement is same as written here.
