Paratha are a great food for babies. Not for little ones, i started feeding paratha when maha was 15 month. I made soft paratha and chapatis, teared it into small pieces and give her a small piece in her hand. She will slowly eat it. I make this aloo paratha for her as well. Since it is so soft she loves it so much.

There are so many different paratha which you can make for your baby. To make colourful paratha, add some carrot juice or beetroot juice into the wheat flour instead of water. So it is more nutritious for your baby.
Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 20 to 25 mins for cooking potato / 1 to 2 mins per paratha
Makes : 3 to 4 small paratha

Ingredients:

For Dough:
Wheat Flour – 1/2 cup
Salt a pinch
Water as needed

For Filling:
Potato – 1 medium size boiled
Salt a pinch
Pepper optional
Ghee for frying paratha

Method:

Take dough ingredients in a bowl and make a soft dough. Cover and let it rest.

Mash potato with some salt and pepper. Divide it into two balls.

Take one ball, flatten it out, place a ball in the middle, cover it up, roll it into thick paratha.

Put it in hot tawa and cook on both sides till done. Apply ghee as needed.

Tear it into small pieces and feed your baby.

@Babe KaurThe dough should be made properly, it should be kneaded very well and rest for 30 mins. And the filling shouldn't be watery.
