I made this cookie couple of months before..I actually forgot to post the recipe till now…So the day is arrived and here you go for the recipe…When I first heard about this cookie, I thought may be this cookie will look huge like a monster..so it has got the name Monster Cookies…But that is entirely false…I think it got the name because it has all lovely yummy stuffs packed in one cookie..

Like Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chips, M&M, Oats……Hence the name…I think…If you know any other reason for the name..Please I would love to hear it..This cookies is really a healthy one..Because it has oats in it…I always love to add oats in my baking..Ok hope you like this…So here you go for the recipe..
Ingredients:

Peanut Butter – 1 1/2  cup (Click here for recipe)
Sugar – 1.5 cup / 200 gms
Instant Quick Cooking Oats – 4 1/2 cups
Chocolate Chips-1 cup or 150 gms
Eggs – 2
Gems / M&M – 1 cup
Butter- 120 grams
Vanilla – 1 tsp
Baking soda / Cooking Soda -2 tsp
Method:
Preheat the oven to 170°C(350°F)..Line a baking tray with foil or parchment and apply butter on it..
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla till fluffy..Add in eggs and beat well.
Add in peanut butter and mix well.Add in oats, baking soda, chocolate chips and mix well.
Take a spoonful of this and place it on the baking tray leaving space between them..They will spread a lot as they cook
Add some gems or M&M over the top and put this in the oven..
Bake it for 10 to 12 mins untill light golden on top…
Take it out and allow it to cool before taking it from the tray..Now take it out of the tray and allow it to cool completely on a wire rack..
Store this in air tight container in fridge for several days.
Taste great with a cup of milk..
Pictorial:
Take all your yummy stuffs
Beat butter, sugar and vanilla
till fluffy
add in eggs…and mix well
add in peanut butter and mix well
Now goes oats…
and chocolate chips ( Now it is getting monster)
add in baking soda
mix well
take a tablespoonful of this
arrange it in a tray
top it with gems
bake to perfection
allow to cool down completely
Serve
taste great with milk
And do you know we can make this cookie in monster shapes too…What do you think about this…
