Mutter Paneer (Paneer & Peas cooked in Tangy Tomato Sauce)

Ok this is my second way of making this delicious dish…This one is a little spicy and a tangy mutter paneer..
If you want to see my mild and creamy version of mutter paneer click here..
I made this one in pressure cooker since I used fresh peas…If you are using frozen u can just cook it on the kadai…Since I cooked both paneer and peas in pressure cooker, the paneer got nice flavour inside too, because you know that paneer is pretty bland right..

This can be served with roti or rice…I think I served that with my Aromatic Rice Pilaf..
So go ahead and try it…
Ingrediants:
Onion-1 sliced
Tomato-3 chopped
Paneer-1 cup cubed
Fresh Peas-1 cup
Ginger-1 inch piece chopped
Garlic-6 cloves
Coriander powder/Malli podi-1 tblspn
Chilli powder-2 tsp
Turmeric powder/Manjal podi-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-1 tsp
Cumin seeds/Jeera-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves / Cilantro-for garnishing
Oil-2 tblspn
Method:
Heat 1 tblspn of oil and fry ginger and garlic…Add in onions and cook until golden brown.
Add in tomato and mix well once…Throw this in a blender and make a fine paste.
Heat 1 tblspn of oil in a kadai..Add cumin seeds and crackle..
Add this blender masala and cook till oil separates.
Add coriander, turmeric, chilli and garam masala powder and mix well..
Add in fresh peas and paneer and mix well..
Pour in required amount of water and bring that to boil..
Tranfer this to pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistle or cook on the kadai till the peas are cooked…
Garnish with cilantro and serve with roti or rice…
Pictorial:
Take all your ingrediants
Fry ginger and garlic in oil…Add in onions and cook till golden…Throw in the tomatoes…
mix well…
Put that in the blender and puree it..
Crackle some cumin in oil…
add in the blended masala…
cook til oil separates from it…
throw in the spices…coriander, chilli, turmeric and garam masala powder…
add in the vibrant fresh peas…
add in paneer pieces too..
mix all up..
pour water…
transfer this to pressure cooker and cook till everything is beautifully cooked
Serve…
U only need some fresh roti or hot rice now..
