This is my old recipe post, I have updated this with new pictures..Hope you will like it
Todays recipe is Palak Paneer….Palak Paneer is a traditional North Indian delicacy and is an integral part of the Punjabi cuisine.I don’t eat spinach a lot,but I love palak in anyform..This spinach has a unique taste and flavour. One tip which i can give you is, if you want a very softer paneer,Do the following steps…..Take a sauce pan with water and boil it,when it comes to a good boil add the paneer and simmer it for 2 min, take it off the flame and let it sit in that water for 5 min,Drain it and use.Sometimes the paneer we use will be so stringy and tough…..By this method your paneer will just melts in your mouth. So please try this dish and let me know what you think..

Looks great, I made this once using the ordinary green spinach that is available in the market. Came out great…
Looks very good! And I think it must be also very yummy. I like Asian (also Indian) cuisine and I think, I must try something different than usually 🙂
Hi there, it looks real Yummy! The pictorial steps really makes it easy to prepare 🙂 Do drop by blog some times. Take care
Tried it today. Turned out yummy !
Hi aarthi.. which paneer to be used?
@AnonymousU can use any paneer which is available in market
So yummy and creamy it looks
Superb
I tried this receipe simple and tasty thank you so much
Aarthi, pls advise whether you use spinach leaves only or leaves and stem? I use the latter but find myself biting into pieces of fiber which spoils the experience of having this wonderful dish. Another question – I normally cook the spinach with onions, garlic before blending it. Is there any difference to taste? Thanks.
@AnonymousI have used only leaves of the spinach. Yes u can cook the spinach with garlic and onion, it just adds flavour
akka substitute for fresh cream?
@umamahijust add some milk mixed with little cornflour
