Spinach Pakora Recipe – Spinach Coconut Milk Pakora Recipe with step wise pictures.

Crunchy and soft spinach pakora which taste super delicious with green chutney and tamarind chutney.

A  spinach pakora recipe caught my eye, since it was very unique. There is a addition of coconut milk in this pakora which was very unique. So i thought of giving it a try and it was delicious. Here i am with the recipe.

Spinach Pakora Recipe

Ingredients

  • Spinach - 3 cups chopped
  • Onion - 1 chopped finely
  • Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Gram Flour / Besan - 2 cups
  • Coconut Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Oil or deep frying

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients to a clumpy mix.
  • Heat oil for deep frying,drop small portion batter in hot oil and fry till golden.
  • Drain and serve with green chutney.

Pictorial:

1)Take chopped spinach in a bowl.

2)Add onions

3)Add chopped green chillies

4)Add in salt

5)Add in chilli powder

6)Add in garam masala powder and turmeric powder.

7)Mix well

8)Add in coconut milk

9)Mix well

10)Add in gram flour.

11)Mix to a very thick mix

12)Heat oil for frying

13)Drop small balls in

14)Fry on medium heat and cook till golden

15)Fry till golden

16)Drain and set aside.

17)Serve hot with some green chutney.
