    Strawberry Jelly Pudding Recipe

    Puddings are a easy way to include fruits in your kids diet. The jelly like texture is everyones favourite..This pudding is my latest discovery and i am in love with it..The jelly is sweet and a little tart which is just perfect..

    After i made the pudding, i was looking through my bakeware collection to find a mould to set this pudding. I got this beautiful rose mould which i happened to buy couple years back and didn't use even once..I thought of setting this puddding in that because of the colour. This will be a perfect desert on valentines day, nothing would be perfect than strawberries right?

    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Chilling Time : Overnight
    Serves : 2 to 3

    Ingredients:

    Strawberry - 15
    Sugar - 2 to 3 tblspn
    Gelatin - 2 tsp
    Water - ¾ cup 
    Lemon Juice - 1.5 tsp
    Strawberry Essence few drops (optional)

    Method:

    Start by soaking gelatin in ¾ cup of water for 10 mins.

    Take strawberries and sugar in a blender and make it into a fine puree. Sieve this and set aside.

    Add in lemon juice and strawberry essence. Set aside.

    Now heat the gelatin on low heat till it is melted and clear.

    Pour this into the strawberry puree and mix well.

    Now pour this mix into the mould and chill overnight.

    For inverting, dip the pudding in hot water for few second and invert it.

    Serve cold.

    leave it to soak till you get ready with other stuffs

    pour the puree through a sieve

    now sieve it so the syrup is so smooth

    This is silky strawberry puree

    now squeeze in some lemon juice

    i happened to have this essence..i added few
    drops of this as well..You can skip this

    mix well and set this aside

    Now the gelatin must be soft

    heat it on low heat till the gelatin is completely melted

    pour this into the strawberry

    I sliced few strawberries

    Now take your mould..I had this beautiful rose mould
    which i am using for the first time..

    pour the strawberry puree into the mould

    throw few strawberries in

    time to set

    place the mould in a plate

    put it in fridge

    now it is all set

    to remove the pudding, dip the mould in hot
    water for few seconds and unmould it
