Taj Exotica, Goa – A Review – Restaurants & Food – PART 2

This is not a paid review, i just want to share this, because the days when i stayed in this resort is one of the best. 

When i shared a review of taj exotica, goa in my blog months back, i told you that i will be sharing the food and restaurant part in a separate post. But somehow i missed to shared it. So here i am with the food part of that review.

As soon as we landed there, it was like evening. We were starving, so decided to order few appetizers for maha and us as inroom service..We ordered their chicken nuggets, spicy chicken lollipop and finger fish and it was really delicious. But the price is way too expensive. So we suggest you to take their buffet always instead of room service.

I too lots of pictures of the platter randomly, so i decided to share it groupwise. Here are those. I will try to name the dish name, but few of them i really forgot the name.

BREAKFAST:

Idli, salami with lettuce, vegetable sagu, pesarattu, vada, keema,pav and bhaji
podi idli, pesarattu, vada, coriander chutney, tomato chutney, coconut chutney and sambar
Croissants, fruit bread with pineapple jam, papaya, pineapple and cantaloupe
breakfast table setup
Ghee roast with sambar and chutneys
sabudana vada, chole battura, sambar and chutney
potato curry, uthappam, aloo poha, kachori, pindi chole, sambar, podi idli and chutneys
Paneer nuggets and chicken nuggets with garlic aioli for maha
Upma, masala vada, momos with chilli chutney, kanchipuram idli and cheela with chutney
rose flavoured milk
fruit cake, banana cake, pineapple, plum, doughnuts, steamed yogurt and pineapple jam
potato smiley, aloo bonda, sambar, chutney and podi idli
masala omelette with hashbrown and grilled tomatoes
cornflakes with fruits, chocolate doughnuts, sugar doughnuts and jam

LUNCH:

Steamed rice, noodles, tomato pulao, paneer curry, chicken do piaza

On our trip, oneday we were soaking in the pool for a whole day, so decided to order lunch as room service. we decided to try out their biryani. We ordered, mutton biryani, chicken biryani and noodles for maha. It was yum.

DINNER :

Tom Yum Soup and chicken clear soup
Potato salad, prawn salad, pesto,sweet corn, aioli, focaccia and waldorf salad
Grilled chicken, fried crispy fish
Veg biryani, prawn curry, fish stew, chicken masala, paneer curry, potato curry and baked veg gratin
curd rice with assorted pickles
potato salad, salami, coleslaw, chicken sausage salad

DESERT:

mango icecream, chocolate mousse cake, fresh cream cake, kala jamun
Carrot halwa, gulab jamun, strawberry cheesecake, kalakand, kiwi fresh cream cake, pineapple with strawberry crush, caramel pudding
