    Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls

    This is one of my favorite recipe, turned out just yummy... And it was a huge hit in my place. You got to try it out to believe my words.Try it out and let me know how they turn out.

    Ingredients for Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup + Extra if needed
    • Whole Wheat Flour - 1 cup
    • Sugar - 4 tbsp
    • Egg - 1
    • Yeast - 1 tsp
    • Warm Milk - ¾ cup + Extra if needed
    • Butter - 3 tbsp melted

    For Spreading on Rolls:

    • Butter - 3 tbsp (soft at room temp)
    • Cinnamon - 2 tbsp
    • Sugar - ¼ cup

    For Icing:

    • Icing Sugar / Confectioners Sugar - 1 cup
    • Milk - 2 to 3 tbsp

    How to Make Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls

    1. Take egg, milk, sugar in a bowl and mix well.
    2. Now add in melted butter, yeast and mix well. Let this sit for 5 mins.
    3. Now add in both the flour and form into a dough.
    4. Cover this and let it sit for an hour or till it is double in size.
    5. Now Make the cinnamon sugar. Mix sugar and cinnamon till it is mixed.Set it aside till use.
    6. Once the dough is risen. Roll it out into a long rectangle.
    7. Spread some soft butter over it. Sprinkle it with cinnamon sugar.
    8. Roll it into a thick log. Cut both the ends. Now cut them into equal slices.
    9. Arrange it in a buttered tray. Cover again and let it rise for a hour.
    10. Preheat the oven to 180 Degree C / 360 Degree F.
    11. Once it is risen, bake it in a preheated oven for 40 to 45 mins.
    12. Remove from oven and make the icing.
    13. Take icing sugar and milk in a bowl and mix well so it forms into a smooth icing.
    14. Drizzle this all over the rolls.
    15. Serve.

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 cup + Extra if needed All Purpose Flour / Maida
    • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
